Petit Planet release status

Official Petit Planet channels now point to a Winter 2026 launch window. This page still does not publish an exact release date until an official source states one clearly.

Current status

Launch window: Confirmed Official Petit Planet materials present a Winter 2026 launch window.

Exact release date: Unknown No exact public release date is listed here yet.

App Store expected date: Observed The App Store page shows Expected Dec 31, 2026. This is recorded as a store expected-date field, not a precise official release date.

Pre-registration: Confirmed The official Petit Planet site is presenting pre-registration as open, and public store pages are visible on App Store, Google Play, and Epic Games Store.

Final Beta Test: Confirmed The sign-up window is closed, and the limited-access test went live on 2026-09-20 at 09:00 (UTC+8). Its end time has not been announced.

Stardrift Test access: Confirmed Official Petit Planet notices say Stardrift Test access was sent out. Treat this as closed-test history and check official channels for current eligibility.

Stardrift Test timing: Confirmed Official social/news results say the Stardrift Test ended on 2026-05-25 at 10:00 (UTC+8). This is not a launch date.

ESRB platform signal: Reported The ESRB rating page lists Windows PC and Nintendo Switch 2 for Petit Planet. This is high-confidence rating-board information, not a publisher launch-platform announcement or simultaneous-release confirmation.

Test platforms: Confirmed Official Final Beta FAQ material lists PC (Windows only), iOS, and Android for this test. This remains beta-test context, not a promise that every platform is final.

Store-page platform signal: Observed Google Play and App Store confirm mobile store visibility, while Epic confirms a PC storefront page. Store pages can change, so final regional availability remains tied to official launch details.

Rating-board source note

The ESRB Petit Planet page lists an E rating, Windows PC, Nintendo Switch 2, Users Interact, and In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items). This site records those as rating-board details and avoids presenting them as final launch timing or store availability.

Media reports from VICE and Pocket Tactics were checked on 2026-07-14 as coverage around the ESRB listing. They are treated as reported context, not publisher confirmation.
